Beyond the Night - Prologue
I turned around to see a girl, who had watched me the whole time.
She was beautiful. Pale eyes sat on her face. Normally, they would be full of life and happiness, and yet now they were full of shock, horror, and disbelief. Her pale blonde hair swayed in the midnight breeze, while the moonlight shone on her already pale skin, illuminating it.
I kicked the lifeless body that was by my feet away, and waited for the screams of horror that would come out of her mouth.
None came.
Wasn’t she scared?
Did she see what I had done?
I could feel the tiny droplets of blood, still on my lips. She must have seen me, how could she have not?
Her lips parted, and I embraced myself for her scream.
Yet again, no scream.
“Wha-what are you? What were you doing?” She said, stumbling upon her own words.
Damn it! She had seen.
“I wish you hadn’t seen that,” I spoke, the smooth words practically rolling off my tongue. She had been spelled, so to speak, and I took the second victim for the night.
My name is Lance Nazraheim, and I am one of the Dark Ones.

This is the main idea, for 2 story's i am thinking of writing (both of which are for my Boyfriend).
The first, and more serious one will be called Beyond the Night, and follows the main character Lance Nazraheim, a vampire, or Dark One as he likes to be called. I have not yet thought about a plan for this one, as im having fun with the other story this prologue starts.

The Second, is more of a muck around story, pointing out views and myths of vampires, along with the 'silly mortals' that rule his world - earth. In this one, Lance Babbles on alot, telling the history of Vampires (Dark Ones). Ive written the first chapter of this one. The title shall be: The Vampire Guide For Silly Mortals.
