“How far away are we from home?” I asked, wanting to know when I could be in a secure place. Elenore must not know about them taking me, I thought. If she did, she wouldn’t allow it.

Doctors and Nurses swarmed around my room, trying to do too many things at once. As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw Elenore staring at me, along with two different nurses.
“Everything will be okay Aurora, just don’t worry about it, go back to sleep if you want to,” Elenore said.
I kept slipping in and out of conciseness. One time, nobody was around me apart from a man dressed in light blue. He had a mask over his mouth. He put something on my mouth, and I drifted back into sleep.

Days later, and yet Indiannah hadn’t had any blood.
“You said you would have some blood, come on, lets go hunting,” I said, desperate for her to get better. She was pale, and her eyes had only a hint of brown left. They were almost white. Her usually silky black hair was dull, and fuzzy.
She replied with a yawn, “I’ll go do it another day, I’m too tired.”

“What do you mean welcome back...? How did I get in here...? I was just at the hospital.”
She giggled, in her childish laugh. “So I’m guessing you haven’t figured it out yet,” She stated, instead of in a questioning way.
I was puzzled. She wasn’t going to answer any of my questions, I realised. So instead, I asked her about herself, her life, and any other information I could find out.

I woke up, and sweat poured down my face.
The sheets were wet, humid and sticky. I liked my sheets clean and fresh.
“Yuck,” I muttered to myself, as I pulled away the wet sheets. I felt better, and then I remembered everything – from the cage and rotten bars to Sarina. Was it all a dream?
